This will be a fun, light-hearted, playful day spent experimenting with eco-dying techniques, all ages welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult.

About the event

This will be a light-hearted day that will begin with a gentle stroll up Fish Chowters Lane collecting leaves and plants. We will then return to The Quarry and, around the cosy fire, make our eco-dye bundles, you can eco-dye a piece of fabric, paper and a little draw-string cotton bag, which will be provided.


We will not be going into the science of eco-dying, but simply experimenting with a few simple techniques, so this will be a fun, creative, experimental time suitable for all the family old and young. Please note though, children must be attended by an adult at all times. However this is a lovely opportunity for those of all ages to come together and create a nature inspired and supported craft.


Whilst the dye pot is brewing we will have a bring-your-own picnic lunch before removing our bundles from the pot and revealing the patterns on…
