STORE POLICY

This website and shop are managed by me from my home studio in Devon in the UK. Everything you see in my shop is made by hand by me, and is one of a kind.

RESERVATIONS AND COMMISSIONS

I do accept a few commissions a month, so please feel free to contact me to find out if i have space for anymore.

I cannot adjust pieces to size, but some pieces are designed to be adjustable so look for that in the listing.

If you really like something and would like to arrange a payment plan this can be discussed, so do contact me to ask.

PRICING

I price my work by the value of the materials and the time it takes for me to make a piece. I then charge a rate per hour, this ranges between £15 and £20 and hour depending on how complex what i am doing is, i then add a percentage to cover all the work i do behind the scenes to keep my workshop running.

This time includes the time it takes to photograph edit and write about a piece, which take a surprisingly long time!

Each piece is carefully packaged and you will receive a hand written note with it. If you are buying a gift please let me know the name of the person so that i can address the card to them.

RETURNS

I try to be as thorough as i can with explaining the size and lengths etc of pieces, so i’m afraid i do not except returns for any other reason then if a piece arrives broken. If you are unsure of any details then please feel free to contact me with any questions before you buy something.

CANCELLATIONS

I reserve the right to deny or cancel a sale of an item at my discretion.

SHIPPING

I recommend that you choose Tracked and Sign For for parcels being sent abroad, and Sign For in the UK, if however you do not choose this option i do not take responsibility for parcels that are lost, and i'm afraid i will not be able to replace lost pieces. Choosing Tracked and Sign options means that you, or i, can locate parcels if they do seem to be taking a long time, it also means the content is insured if lost.

The shipping cost are worked out for either in the UK, or not, so please choose the correct option.

I ship items a few days after they are ordered usually, however if you’d like me to send it sooner please do contact me to see if this can be done.

I am also a mum so i do this to fit in with my work time and make sure i get plenty of studio time and am not endlessly going to the post office.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

As the buyer, you are fully responsible for any additional taxes, etc. required by your country.

PACKAGING AND PRESENTATION

The vast majority of packaging i use is recycled paper and card. My cards and envelopes are made from recycled Kraft Card and hand stamped by me.

If you are buying something as a gift for someone please let me know their name, otherwise the card i write will be addressed to you.

Please join me in keeping the reduce, re-use, re-cycle ethic going by also reusing packaging where you can. Thank You :)

CARE & REPAIR

I care very much about the beauty and durability of my work, i wish it to be both comfortable and strong. If for any reason something breaks through everyday wear i will do my best to repair it and the repair will be free of charge. Obviously some parts may be irreplaceable, if this is the case i will endeavour to come to a fair arrangement with you.

Care instructions for pieces are included in the listings, so please do read them carefully. Copper is very special and reactive material, i have coated each piece with lacquer but over time this may wear off, please use a metal polishing cloth to re-shine if this should happen.

GREEN STUDIO

I try my best to be as eco friendly as i can, all of the electricity that comes in to my home - therefore running my kiln - is from a green energy company. Also other than the kiln i run a tumbler and use no power tools. Most of what i make is made with pliers and hands, in natural light.

I am as mindful as i feel i can be with knowing where my materials come from, much of it is second hand, preloved beads.

I avoid toxic chemicals and plastics.
